This nickel-silver kit builds up into a complete replacement finescale chassis for the Bachmann model. The prototypical frame outline with spring detail is enhanced by dummy inside motion, full brake gear, balance weights, forked coupling rods and OO/EM/P4 spacers.

A bespoke two-stage gearbox is supplied with the kit - this is custom-designed for this particular locomotive and can be supplied in 60, 80:1 or 108:1 format. The chassis is designed for beam compensation and comes complete with MJT 'slimline' hornblocks.
